Family

Over three generations, the craft has been refined: from tanning and cutting to the making of garments, furniture and accessories from fine deerskin and wool. Each piece carries the spirit of the Alps and the quiet strength of its origins.

Today, Elisabeth Frauenschuh and Matthäus Stern continue the legacy, showing deep respect for materials and pursuing quality uncompromisingly, while maintaining a belief in craftsmanship that endures through time.

Rooted in Kitzbühel

The story of Hans Frauenschuh began in 1950, when Anna and Hans Frauenschuh opened a small tannery in Kitzbühel. What started as a devotion to precision and honest materials has grown into a lasting tradition, that lives on in every stitch and every detail of our creations.
